Consumer Protection and Cancellation Policy

These additional terms apply to consumers (within the meaning of Art. 2(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU and German BGB §13) who purchase digital content or services directly from Energy Wise Training via this website. They supplement our general Terms of Use.

1. Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer residing in the EU or UK, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

Cancellation Period

The cancellation period is 14 days from the date of contract conclusion.

How to Cancel

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us:

You may use the following wording (or your own):

“I hereby withdraw from the contract for the purchase of the following digital service: [insert service] ordered on [insert date].”

We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal by email.

Consequences

If you cancel within the period, we will refund any payments received from you using the same method of payment, within 14 days.

If you requested delivery of digital content during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you would lose your right to cancel once delivery began, no refund will be given after the content is made available.

2. Delivery of Digital Content

Access to purchased content (such as online course material) will be granted promptly after payment is received unless otherwise stated. If technical issues prevent access, please contact us.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices shown include applicable VAT, where required. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase and may be made using the methods indicated at checkout.

4. Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR):

We are not obliged and do not agree to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
